# Gameplay

Players have a variety of ways to interact with Atmos. Taking on the role of Exo pilots, players compete in races, mine [OREs ](/atmos/assets/ores.md)from Atmos' rich mineral deposits, and fabricate new pieces of gear. New game modes, expansions and additional features will be released regularly as we incrementally build and improve the Atmos ecosystem.
